Re: Dirt jumper sizing

dirtjumpers are not measure with stand over in mind. it is made to be a little smaller than you XC bike. most companies now use the top tube length as the frame size  distinction, not the seat tube. basically think of it like a big wheeled BMX bike.  you want a cock pit that is comfortable...

mercer jumps are now the mercer FLATS

i stopped by the mercer spot today to see what was up, well nothing was up. in fact the opposite was true. looks as if someone went in there with a small bobcat and flattened the lot.  the only thing left the would show there were jumps there is the little turn around with the berm.   ...

Re: enormous teeter totter

thanx randy, i hope to git-r-done very soon. but the teeter is no where it stops.  we will need another 16-20 feet of skinny after is to work right. so even when the teeter is done this line may not be rideable.

Re: Kicked out of Dow Rd. trails

It sucks that that land just sits. I know it is supposed to be a buffer zone but they could regulate the use so that groups like ours can access the area. Robert Legg this is similar to the new river trails. its a physical training area that has a sweet single track and more but hunters are allowed...

Re: changing drop bar to riser bars on my x check

i would think it is fine to use a shifter made for a triple. on my bike the front is made for a triple but i only have two rings up front and it works fine. you just have to make sure the limit screws are set so it does not throw the chain off the rings if you ever try to throw it in the third ring ...
