Problems sending PM's

When I try to "SEND" a personal message instead of actually sending the message to the recipient the message goes to my outbox. I can get to it from my outbox but I don't have any way to send the message from the outbox so it just sits there until something finally triggers it to be sent. Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Make sure when you add the user you are sending it to you click the Add button...then make sure you hit Submit instead of save or preview....I just sent one and seems fine...

I do have the correct person added and I am hitting SEND not SAVE...it still sends the PM to my outbox...I sent a PM this morning and again it went to the outbox...I just looked and I see that it was sent sometime between now and then...so this time it was sent from my outbox (without me clicking on anything!) in a few hours. Hey...that is the clue...since it was "sent" automatically from my outbox without me doing anything (if I had saved it to the outbox then I would have to go to the outbox to actually send it) then the PM is getting "sent" it just has to wait for some reason in the outbox before it gets sent......sometimes it takes days before it will get sent...any idea why?

And here's another problem...I can't edit my posts either...I remember at one time there was an edit button or option but its not there now. Any idea on what's going on?

OK..what happens is this...you send a message and it gets delivered....until that person OPENS the message it is still in your outbox...once it is received...it goes to the sent box. While in the outbox...NOT SENT..you can still delete the message...that is why it stays in there. Like me..I think I had 4 deleted messages from you while you were trying to send me messages. I remember getting one about a pig...but then you deleted it...

You can test this by sending me a PM...call me and I will check my PM's and you will see it moves to your sent box.
